Learning to anchor your mind to a deep state of relaxation is one of the most useful and practical tools I use and teach. Anchoring your deep state of relaxation with a scent, word, mental picture, song or tool of your choice can instantly take you out of stress and create calm. I used this technique to cure myself of my driving anxiety panic attack. You will have to experiment to see which one works for you. then the tool has to be reinforced.
